Each line utilizes fabrics including organic cottons from Japan and vegetable-tanned leathers, making her a sustainable designer with a message. In her own Brooklyn studio Titania drapes each item by hand and then sends them off to be sewn in a small New York factory, helping to maintain her philosophy that good craftsmanship is key.
Talk a little bit about that process.

Accessories are newer for the line, but not for me personally; I started making belts and wallets all unisex! One look at her pieces and you immediately see right into her world. Issue 1: On Appropriation. TB: We were immediately drawn to your dark, minimal aesthetic that incorporates nature and architecture as well. Fashion Projects is a journal focusing on fashion, art and visual culture.
We love her commitment to sustainability and her approach to fashion is very refreshing. Fabulous lines…Minsstyle is a fan!! She uses a variety of hand techniques like beeswaxed cotton, bias cutting, rust dyeing, dip-dying with all natural dyes and zero-waste patternmaking which can all be seen in her Fall and Spring and Fall and Spring collections.
View fullsize. When executed properly, it can become a beautiful collage of seemingly endless influences. New styles are wear-tested to guarantee a flattering, comfortable fit and sturdy construction, ensuring that these un-basic pieces will be wardrobe staples for years to come. The whole concept of design, and therefore of industrial production, has generated enormous changes in society, for better and for worse, and I want to be a part of making it for better and for better.

Beyond that, my father is an architect and raised me with an extensive knowledge of geometry and art history; I find architecture and natural structures endlessly fascinating.
